The industrial metals was trading almost flat in early trade, set for its second weekly fall as optimism over economic growth in top user China was overshadowed by a probe into metals financing at a major port in the country.
Copper scrap heavy dropped by Rs 9 per kg to Rs 477 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 486.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar dipped by Rs 7 per kg each to Rs 484 and Rs 512 from Rs 491 and Rs 519, respectively.
Copper armature also looked down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 465 from Rs 468.
Brass sheet cutting and tin moved down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 350 and Rs 1,598 as against Rs 352 and Rs 1,600.
Copper sheet cutting edged-down by a Re per kg to Rs 463. However, zinc inched-up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 174.
