Marketmen said ample stocks position on increased supplies following government's measures to check rising prices led to the decline in arhar and other pulses prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 8,700 and Rs 11,600-13,300 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,500-12,600 and Rs 11,100-11,300 per quintal, respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 11,200-11,800 and Rs 11,600-12,000 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality enquired lower by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,050-7,350 and Rs 7,150-7,450 per quintal.
In line with overall trend, gram shed Rs 50 at Rs 5,200-5,600 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality eased to Rs 5,350-5,650 and Rs 5,800-5,900 against last close of Rs 5,400-5,700 and Rs 5,820-5,930 per quintal, respectively.
