Gomez, 20, who tried to remain graceful and modest as she did the interview with David Letterman on Monday, opened up for the first time about her split from the 19-year-old heartthrob earlier this year, reported Us magazine.
Letterman told the actress, "Last time you were here, you were with a Justin Bieber. That's not going on now."
Gomez said, "No, I'm single and I'm so good."
Then Letterman went on to explain that he got himself into a spot of trouble with the teenager.
"Well then, that makes two of us," said Gomez.
Since parting ways, after over two years of dating, the former couple have only addressed their split in cryptic references through songs.
