Bieber, 20, and Gomez, 21, recently sparked reconciliation rumours after they were spotted taking a two-hour private dance lesson in Texas, reported People magazine.
"Selena has chosen Justin over her family in the past. They are disappointed about that. Her father has told her he doesn't like her spending time with him," a source said.
The duo were also seen enjoying a meal together at a local restaurant last week, following which they headed for a shopping spree.
