Self employment schemes' beneficiaries to be selected shortly

Selection of beneficiaries for self employment schemes would be completed by January 21, Karimnagar in-charge District Collector Sarfaraj Ahmed said here today.
Addressing a meeting with bankers, he said that banks should issue consent letters to selected beneficiaries by January 28.
He told that banks should ensure that accounts are opened with zero balance for beneficiaries.
During this financial year, Rs 300 crore bank loans were sanctioned as against the target of Rs 600 crore.
Additional Joint Collector A Manohar, District Rural Development Authority J Shankaraiah, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Vuppula Chakradhar Rao, RBI Manager Pulla Reddy, NABARD AGM Uma Maheshwar Rao, SBH Chief Manager U Rao and others were present at the event.
