He said Selja briefed the Governor about the current status of the various sites of archaeological and cultural heritage importance being conserved by Archaeological Survey of India in the state.

The Governor said the state has a rich treasure of monuments and other icons of cultural heritage which are invaluable from the historical, cultural and civilisational perspectives and are also of significant importance as symbols of centuries old secular traditions of the country.
