Senior Congress leader killed in accident

A 65-year-old Congress leader was killed today after his car was allegedly hit by a speeding train at Kashthuni railway crossing under Musafirkhana police station area here.
Virendra Bahadur Singh, a senior Congress leader and owner of a gas agency, was killed today, when his car was hit by a speeding goods train at Kashthuni railway crossing, SHO Musafirkhana, Dipendra Singh said.
Singh, a resident of Uttar Pati village, was on his way home when his car broke down at the railway crossing, police said, adding that the car was later hit by the train.
