Senior govt official's mother killed by robbers

Kamleshwari Devi (67) was killed when she resisted a robbery attempt by four youths in Officers Colony Cooks Compound yesterday, they said, adding that the miscreants escaped with ornaments and other belongings.

Kamleshwari's son Anand Srivastava is Deputy Director in Statistics Department, police said.
