Committee (SGPC) President Avtar Singh was bereaved today when he lost his younger son Tejinderpal Singh Soni.
Soni (38) died at PGI here after renal failure.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Soni.
Sharing his heart felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, friends and relatives, Badal prayed for the departed soul.
Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and Information and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia also mourned his death.
