SRK is the only male actor who will walk the ramp with other actresses on Chopra's 81st birthday on September 27.
The function is being organised by Chopra's wife Pamela.
Shah Rukh, who teamed up with Chopra on his last four films 'Darr', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Veer-Zara' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', had interviewed the director last year on his 80th birthday.
"Pamelaji requested Shah Rukh to be part of this tribute to Yashji and he happily agreed to walk with all the divas as part of the grand finale," Rafiq Gangjee, the official spokesperson of Yash Raj Films said.
The veteran filmmaker died last year on October 21.
