"I could see he (former Home Secretary) was expecting some kind of position in the government. That is what Digvijay also said in his statement. Since it did not materialise, he is making a lot of bold allegations. The allegations which are not borne by truth. It is very unfortunate," Narayanasamy told reporters here.
Referring to the former Home Secretary, he said it was not correct for people working in government positions, who have got access to secret documents, to make allegations without any basis or proof.
The Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said Singh was changing his version all the time.
"I would like to make it very clear that as far as Home Minister Shinde is concerned, he has got impeccable integrity. He is a man of action," he said.
Narayanasamy said Shinde is bringing several reforms in the Home Ministry as well as the overall law and order situation in the country. "Especially in Delhi, it (law and order) has been maintained," the Minister said.
Former Home Secretary R K Singh, who recently joined BJP, had alleged that Shinde had interfered with IPL betting probe by Delhi Police.
