ShopX appoints Kirti Varun as VP of Product Management

ShopX, digital offline platform that powers small retailers in India, today said it has appointed Kirti Varun from Amazon to head its Product Management function.
Varun joined ShopX as Vice President of Product Management, and will be a part of ShopX's leadership team and will work closely with the ShopX co-founders Amit Sharma (CEO) and Apoorva Jois (COO).
Prior to ShopX, Kirti was a Principal Product Manager with Amazon India, where he was responsible for building India-specific product innovations to improve key customer inputs such as Pricing, Inventory, Affordability and Selection.

PNB launches three new products on 123rd Foundation Day * State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) launched three new products today including automated electronic toll collection facility to mark 123rd Foundation Day.

It will facilitate hassle free toll payment or collection at toll plazas.

Country's second largest public sector bank also launched credit card mobile application and a scheme for financing grid connected roof solar power project.
For internal purpose, it also launched a mobile app for its employees to facilitate HR related operations.

Mahesh Kumar Mittal becomes CFO of NHPC * NHPC today said that the company has designated Mahesh Kumar Mittal as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in place of Jayant Kumar.
"Mahesh Kumar Mittal, Director (Finance) has been designated as CFO of the company from April 17, 2017 in place of Jayant Kumar, who ceased to be CFO of the company due to attaining the age of superannuation on February 28, 2017," NHPC said in a BSE filing today.
