The upcoming musical drama is the sequel to 2008 hit "Rock On" and will have stars from the prequel - Farhan, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, besides Sharddha as the new entrant.
"It has been amazing working with her. She has a beautiful voice... She sings wonderfully. She has three songs. Not just me but Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan and Loy were completely blown away with the way she sings," Farhan said in an interview here.
The 41-year-old actor revealed he has lent voice for four songs in the film, while Shraddha has sung three songs.
"Rock On 2" was in news for being embroiled in a legal battle but the issue now stands solved.
Elucidating on the matter, Farhan said the dispute was between two writers and not between producers and anyone else.
"...There was never a thing like whether the film can be made or not. There was never discrepancy on that. The thing was title credit dispute between writers. It was also at Film Writers Association, they ruled a certain way and then the court ruled a certain way. We are producers and we will follow what the court says," he said.
"I am enjoying myself. I am not thinking about the pressure. Those things come much later when the film is nearing the release date. Right now I am happy with the fact that the film is being made," he said.
The "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" star plans to release "Rock On 2" in October or November next year.
On being asked if he plans to turn "Rock On" into a franchise, Farhan says, "That time will tell...Right now we want 'Rock On 2' to be made."
