"Saina" will be directed by Amol Gupte, who has helmed movies such as "Stanley Ka Dabba" and "Hawa Hawaai".
Shraddha, 30, is also part of another biopic "Haseena", based on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar.
