At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July moved up by Rs 153, or 0.43 per cent to Rs 36,112 per kg in business turnover of 83 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in May contracts edged up by Rs 97, or 0.27 per cent to Rs 35,630 per kg in 6,605 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices at futures trade to a firming trend in the precious metals overseas.
Meanwhile, silver added 0.2 per cent to USD 15.69 an ounce in London.
