Simon Cowell praises Beyonce Knowles

Media mogul Simon Cowell has lauded singer Beyonce Knowles for launching her chart-topping fifth album without any hype or unnecessary promotions.
The 54-year-old 'X Factor' boss said people have had enough of the hype created by pop stars to generate a buzz for their albums, reported Daily Mirror.
"I think overall this has been a really, really good year for music. I mean, some people have had a great year, some people have had a bad year. It's quite interesting that after all the hype, Lady Gaga, it's almost as if people have just had enough of it," Cowell said.
