Prior to his new job at Singhi Advisors as partner and head of infotech and technology vertical, Bimal Raj was the chief executive of networking firm Smartlink Network Systems, previously called D-Link, the city-based investment banking firm said in a statement.
Shetkar used to head corporate finance advisory at the Kolkata-based Srei Infrastructure Finance, and has come on board as a director, to lead initiatives in manufacturing, healthcare, engineering, infrastructure and business services.
"The latest induction of leadership and talent does not just signal our plans for the good days ahead, but also marks that we remain firmly committed to the country's growth story," said the firm's founder and managing director Mahesh Singhi.
The boutique investment banking firm recently took over operations of Mumbai-based Pristine Capital, leading to its founder Akshay Sanghvi joining it as a partner.
During the last one-and-a-half years, Singhi had inducted five new directors and practice leaders to expand the leadership team, including Anand Bagheria from ICICI as partner.
