Six arrested in Nepal with banned substances

Six people, including a woman, have been arrested from various parts of the Nepalese capital and huge quantity of banned substances were recovered from them, police said today.
A 39-year-old man from Makwanpur district was arrested by a special team of Nepal Police in Thankot and 101 kg of hashish was seized from his possession.
Police seized 335 grams of brown sugar and 2,100 ampuls of buprenorphine from the other arrested persons who included a 27-year-old woman.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, said the Narcotic Control Bureau of Nepal Police.
