The facility, with a capacity of 4000 mtpa of plumbing and agri pipes has been set up in Guwahati in Assam and will cater to the demand of the north east market, the company said in a statement today.
Skipper currently has two PVC pipes manufacturing plants in Uluberia (West Bengal) and Ahmedabad (Gujarat) and plans to commission plants in Hyderabad and Sikandrabad (UP).
The company has also entered into two separate partnership with the global giants namely Japan-based Sekisui Chemical Co and Netherlands-based Wavin Group to bring world class plumbing system to the market, it said.
