SL navy seizes ganga, takes three persons into custody

The Sri Lankan Navy today took three persons into cutody after seizing 156 kgs of ganja from them.
Police said the Indian smugglers, who handed over the contraband, belived to valuded at Rs 1.56 crore in the illegal inernational market, to the Sri Lankan nationals, managed to enter into the Indian sea territory following which the navy could not apprehend them.
Police said they would probe about the persons who had haned over the ganga to the Sri Lankan nationals.
