According to the bulk deal data available with NSE, Smallcap World Fund bought 1,62,500 shares or 1.45 per cent stake in the company.
The shares were acquired at an average price of Rs 11,599.98 per scrip totalling the transaction to Rs 188.49 crore.
Bengaluru-based Page Industries is the exclusive licensees of Jockey International Inc for manufacture and distribution of the Jockey brand innerwear and leisurewear in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and UAE.
The firm is also the exclusive licensee of Speedo International for the manufacture, marketing and distribution of the Speedo brand in India.
