The Rs six lakh event will be held at the state-of-the-art Clover Greens golf course situated on the outskirts of the city just across the border in Tamil Nadu.
Smriti, who displayed good form in the eighth leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour last week by pulling off a stunning victory over fellow city golfer Ankita Tiwana, will start her campaign for the ninth leg full of confidence.
Current Order of Merit leader and Kolkata golfer Neha Tripathi, who surprisingly went off colour in the eighth leg after three consecutive wins, will also hope to bounce back in this tournament.
Neha currently leads the Hero Order of Merit with total earnings of Rs 7.05 lakh and four wins to her credit.
Some other golfers to watch out for in the ninth leg will be Delhi's Vani Kapoor and Ankita Tiwana, and rookie golfer Shweta Galande from Pune.
