Virgin Atlantic flight VS-301 was scheduled to take off for London's Heathrow Airport from Indira Gandhi International Airport here at 1400 hours.
However, the aircraft, a Boeing Dreamliner B 787-9, with all its passengers on board, had to be called off after the push back due to a snag, airport sources said.
The stranded flight finally took off for its destination at around 1900 hours, they said.
