A software engineer today died of a suspected heart attack after swimming in a pool at a DDA sports complex in outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar, police said.
Nitin Gupta worked with a Gurgaon-based firm and used to visit the sports complex with his family.
Today, he was in the pool when he felt uneasy and started splashing water frantically, police said.
Initially people near the pool believed Gupta was enjoying swimming but soon they realised something was wrong. They pulled him out of the pool and rushed him to a hospital where he died of a suspected heart attack, police said.
Gupta was undergoing treatment for chest pain. His family did not allege any foul play in his death.
