At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for delivery in far-month June month contracts dropped by Rs 77, or 1.79 per cent to Rs 4,213 per quintal, in an open interest of 47,020 lots.
Also, most-active delivery in May month contracts was trading lower by Rs 71, or 1.68 per cent to Rs 4,157 per quintal and open interest stood at 1,01,330 lots.
Marketmen attributed fall in soybean prices at futures trade to trimming of positions by speculators, triggered by weak global cues, led to the fall in soybean futurs here.
