SP MLA surrenders before court

Samajwadi Party legislator Mitrasen Yadav, against whom a non-bailable warrant was issued on May 20 in a case under Representation of People Act, has surrendered before a court here.
Yadav, an MLA from Bikapur constituency of Faizabad, surrendered before the court of Additional District Judge Bhupendra Sahay yesterday, which released him on bail.
The three time Lok Sabha MP was sentenced to three months imprisonment on September 3 last year by a local court.
Yadav had challenged the lower court's order in Faizabad district court and the matter is sub-judice in the court.
However, after Yadav failed to appear before it, the court issued a non-bailable warrant on May 20.

During the 2009 General Elections, Yadav was booked for threating his voters in Kumar Ganj police station of Milkipur.
