"Eighty-seven cases were registered against the Telangana Chief Minister across Andhra Pradesh and a SIT has been constituted to inquire into these cases," Andhra DGP Jasti Venkata Ramudu told PTI today.
Ruling TDP has alleged that Telangana government has illegally tapped phones of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has taken up the issue with the Centre.
The phone tapping episode is linked to the cash-for-vote scam centred around TDP's Telangana MLA Revanth Reddy, who is currently behind bars.
Some Andhra Pradesh Ministers yesterday claimed there was enough evidence to "nail" the Rao-led Telangana Government in the phone tapping scandal.
