The squall last midnight coupled with thundershowers, and dusty winds in north-western regions of the state, especially in Jaipur district, lowered the temperatures by one to five degrees, the official said.
Kota was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 41.1 degrees Celsius followed by Ganganagar 40.7, Barmer 40.6, Churu 40.3, and Jaipur 40.2 degrees Celsius.
The day temperatures ranged from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius in other places like Ajmer, Pilani, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner.
