Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the small screen as a host for a talent-based reality show.
Shah Rukh has been roped in to host 'Got Talent World Stage Live' a first-of-its kind global on-ground extension of 'Got Talent' franchise premiering in India.
The event will feature performances by ten Indian and international talents each.
"We have been talking about this show since one and half-two years and I am glad it has happened. We have enough talent here (India) to show to the world and also get to see the best talent from all over the world. It's a great platform ...Opportunity for people to showcase their talent besides music, dance...There will be different variety of talent," Shah Rukh told reporters here today.
"The day you feel you are talented and done everything, it's the end. One should remain ordinary. I still get nervous doing my first scene for any film," he said.
SRK said he is thankful he got a platform to showcase his talent. "We work for name, fame, money, award, reward and also to make people smile, laugh through our work...I think injury is become part and parcel of our job. I think I have been given a lot more than I deserve. I owe this to everyone. I want to keep working and entertain people," he said.
"I feel happy and fortunate to have touched the lives of people through my work," he said, adding that the credit also goes to the directors, producers, writers, creators who are equally a part of it.
The reality show will be a ticketed event, with tickets going on sale next week. It will be telecast on Colors channel and will be held at Mumbai's Andheri sports Complex on December 6.
'Got Talent World Stage Live', executed by Cineyug, is the first of its kind on-ground extension of Colors marquee talent show India's Got Talent. The Got Talent format was created and is owned by Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment and is co produced by Freemantle Media India.
