Stolen idols found

Antique idols stolen from a temple in Kendrapara district were found Friday from an orchard, police said.

Brass idols were stolen from Radhakant Jew temple in Giria village on August 6. The theft of the idols had later sparked public agitation, they said.

Six idols stolen from the temple were found from an orchard in Kalikapur village, police said.

Though the stolen idols were recovered, the investigation into the theft is still in progress and efforts are on to nab the miscreants, they added.
