Student held for murder

Nadia police arrested one
Manatosh Baien, a student of class ten (15) today following the murder of five year old boy Arnab Sarkar of Taraknagar under Krishnagar police station in Nadia.
Arnab Ghosh SP, Nadia said in a press meet today that Manatosh had allegedly killed Arnab.
The mobile phone which was used to call for ransom was seized. Tiken was detained for interrogation." The child was killed after a family feud and Manatosh confessed his crime ," SP said. Manatosh was arrested after locating his mobile tower, police said.
Tension prevailed at Taraknagar under Krishnaganj Police station area in Nadia on Wednesday morning when the decomposed body of missing 5 year old boy Arnab Sarkar had been found in an under construction building. He was killed by strangulation , police said.

While sniffer dog was rushed to the spot, the locals disallowed police to lift up the body demanding the arrest of the culprits. However, the body was sent for autopsy.
Demanding the arrest of the culprits, the locals had disallowed the police to lift up the body and blocked the rails at Taraknagar halt station at around 10 am. It continued up to about 4 pm.
