Scores of students today staged a protest outside the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over alleged non-fulfilment of AAP's poll promise of opening 20 new colleges in the national capital.
"The AAP government had promised to open 20 new colleges in their election manifesto. Neither a single college has been opened so far nor any progress made on the issue," said Rohit Chahal, one of the protesters.
Vikas Chaudhury, another protester alleged, "Kejriwal government has taken several u-turns ever since it came to power and students are being exploited".
Police had to use water cannons to disperse the students following which 50 of them were detained and released later.
