Sugar eases on poor demand
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 19 per quintal Rs 3,682/3,772 from Thursday's closing level of 3,701/3,791.
Small sugar (S-30) edged down by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,602/3,696 as compared to Rs 3,602/3,696 previously.
The following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,600/3,696 (Rs 3,602/3,696).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,682/3,772 (Rs 3,701/3,791).
