Sugar moves down on reduced demand
Prices of both the varieties of sugar moved down further at the Vashi wholesale market here today following reduced demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
Small sugar (S-30) edged down by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 2,662/2,780 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 2,666/2,780.
Medium sugar (M-30) also weakened by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,740/2,900 as compared Rs 2,750/2,900.
