Former minister Harmel Singh today accused Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal of turning the party into a private limited company.
Harmel Singh, who is also son-in-law of former SGPC president G S Tohra alleged that Sukhbir Singh Badal refused to give him a ticket to contest next year's assembly election because his "family did not have enough money."
Singh's wife, Kuldeep Tohra, was recently replaced as 'halqa' in charge of Patiala segment by a former Akali rebel, Satbir Khatra.
Khatra is the son of RS Khatra, DIG Ferozepur.
