Sunny day in Delhi, day temp rises to 29.3 deg C

It was a sunny day in the national capital today as maximum temperature rose to settle at 29.3 degrees Celsius, which was five notches above the season's average.
The minimum temperature jumped to settle six notches above normal at 17 degrees Celsius, which was 2.6 degrees more than yesterday.
Humidity in air oscillated between 96 and 58 per cent.
The MeT department has predicted light showers in some areas till tomorrow afternoon.
"The skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow. One or two spells of very light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas till afternoon. There will be mist or shallow fog in the morning," said the MeT forecast.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 29 and 17 degrees Celsius respectively.
