Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to visit the US in the second half of September but no dates have been finalised, it was officially clarified tonight.
Earlier, some officials had indicated that Singh's visit to the US during which he will have a bilateral meeting with President Barack Obama in Washington besides attending the UN General Assembly in New York is expected to take place from September 20 to 25.
The upcoming visit was discussed during a 75-minute meeting that Singh had here today with visiting US Vice President Joseph Biden, sources said.
