Supporters of Cong MLA raise pro-Modi slogans

Upset by their leader and sitting Congress MLA from Sinnar Manikrao Kokate extending his support to the NCP nominee Chhagan Bhujbal, the supports of the former raised slogans in favour of BJP leader Narendra Modi and Shiv Sena at a joint rally in Sinnar.
Kokate, whose equations with the NCP stalwart are said to be not so good, recently announced his support to the candidature of Bhujbal, which is not gone down well with his supporters.
When state Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat was addressing the rally last night, with Kokate and Bhujbal on stage, a number of Congress activists raised slogans hailing Modi as well as Shiv Sena.

Bhujbal is contesting his maiden Lok Sabha election from Nashik, currently represented in Lok Sabha by his nephew Sameer Bhujbal.
When contacted, senior Congress leader Vinayak Patil denied that workers at the rally belonged to Congress.
