Surya Roshni to invest Rs 50 cr in LED R&D segment in 2 years

Surya Roshni, a leading brand in lighting and steel pipe products, today said it is investing Rs 50 crore in R&D for LED products in two years.
"We have invested Rs 35 crore in LED R&D segment and decided to invest another Rs 50 crore in LED segment in the next two years period," Surya Roshni's Managing Director B Raju said in a statement here.
The investment in R&D will help company to provide its customers best and innovative products, Raju said.
The company has recently introduced its best LED product range in the market keeping in mind energy conservation and suitability to its mass customers, he added.

The Rs 4,000 crore company is one of the leading brands selling lighting and steel pipe products not only in India, but also exporting to over 50 countries.
The company has also commenced a nationwide campaign to create awareness among the consumers about the menace of fictitious and spurious LED products in the market place.
Surya is taking up different awareness campaigns to educate consumer retailer, dealers, distributors and general traders to make them aware about spurious and fictitious products.
