Susan Boyle announces plans for first tour

Singer Susan Boyle is heading out on tour for the first time after finally feeling ready to perform a string of live shows for her fans.
Boyle shot to fame in 2009 when she auditioned for Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent, and has gone on to boast a global following.
She has restrained from touring in subsequent years, but has now confirmed she will perform a string of concerts in her native Scotland, starting in July, reported Contactmusic.
A statement on her website read, "This is the first year that I feel I can hold my own on a stage for the full time and that I will be able to please an audience and my fans. So I will be performing on 7 nights in Scotland as a tester to see if I enjoy it. The venues chosen are intimate and steeped in Scottish history."

Boyle said she will head out on a world tour if fans enjoy her Scottish shows.
"Fingers crossed it will all go well and then as they say the world is my oyster and I can look in 2014 to do more, well that's the plan anyway.
