The former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister said he has levelled charges against Lalu Prasad's family with "documentary evidences" whereas RJD levelled allegations against him without any basis or evidence.
"I am neither a director, nor a partner nor shareholder in any company. I am actively involved in politics. I don't have any business, nor do I have any contract or farming," he said while refuting RJD's allegations.
The RJD had yesterday alleged that Sushil Modi was suspected by people of having laundered his black money through his brother's firm and demanded a probe into the matter.
"How can I reply to the allegations levelled against my relatives' companies when I am neither a partner nor a director or shareholder in these companies. Only the owner of the company can reply to the allegations," he said.
Sushil Modi, accompanied by Bihar BJP vice president Devesh Kumar, alleged that his relatives are being harassed but he was not going to be either "black-mailed" or "intimidated", rather he would intensify his campaign with double force.
"How can I, as DyCM, help the company flourish when it does not have any operations in Bihar and at the Centre it was UPA's regime for 10 years between 2004-2014 in which RJD was a partner," the senior BJP leader said.
He, once again, asked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to break his silence and take action against Lalu Prasad's minister sons who allegedly concealed information of amassing hundreds of crores through shell companies.
