Manjhi must take the opportunity of attending Modi's swearing-in ceremony tomorrow to send out a signal to improve goods relations with the Central government in order to extract more funds for development of Bihar, former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said in a post on social networking site.
By attending Modi's swearing-in, the new chief minister will also be able to improve his own image, that he is not a 'yes man' of his predecessor and offset whatever political damage that must have been caused by the arrogant attitude of his predecessor, he said.
Sushil Modi asked that if the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif can decide to atttend the function by taking the army and ISI into confidence, then why can't the new Bihar chief minister do so.
The senior BJP leader said that Manjhi must attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in to send out a message that he need not obtain permission of his predecessor on every decision or that he is not a "puppet chief minister".
