About 77 per cent of people in the national capital believe that corruption has not gone down in government offices in Delhi while some 62 per cent said neither the electricity bills have come down nor are they getting 20,000 litres of free water every month as promised by the AAP government, a survey by Swaraj Abhiyan today claimed.
The survey was conducted between February 10 to 14, covering 10,000 Delhi residents in 70 assembly constituencies, was done by volunteers of Swaraj Abhiyan, an organisation formed by expelled AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan.
Fight against corruption was a major plank on which AAP came to power in Delhi.
Around 86 per cent of the people surveyed said the Janlokpal Bill was not the same which was promised at Ramlila Maidan by Kejriwal, while 74 per cent felt that there was no clamp down on corruption at ration shops.
The study claimed that 63 per cent of people said their electricity bills have not come down while 62 per cent said they were not getting 20,000 litres of free water every month.
Over 82 per cent said they did not get old-age pension, the survey claimed, while 80 per cent were of the opinion that women were unsafe in the city. 87 per cent respondents claimed that CCTV were yet to be installed in their areas.
Some 85 per cent of the people claimed that the Primary Health Care (PHC) were yet to be opened in their areas.
