A Swedish prosecutor said Friday US rapper A$AP Rocky should be jailed for about six months for his role in a Stockholm street brawl which has caught the attention of US President Donald Trump and outraged fans.

"I don't see how anything but prison is up for discussion," prosecutor Daniel Suneson told the Stockholm District court as he delivered closing arguments in the assault trial against the artist and two members of his crew.

"The court should reach the conclusion that the assault... should have a penalty of about six months," Suneson said.
