Sitadevi (60), who hailed from Uttarakhand, passed away at a hospital here yesterday, an official said today quoting a state medical report.
She had come here to visit her relatives in Jagatpura here and fell sick with swine flu virus, he said.
With this death, Rajasthan has so far reported 26 deaths due to the dreaded H1N1 virus this year so far, the official said.
Of the total samples taken for tests in the state since January 2014, 49 patients had been found swine flu positive, he said.
A comparative study on this subject is being worked out district wise, he said.
The official said an Integrated Disease Surveillance programme was being extended in the entire state, specially during monsoon season, as a preventive measure to control the spread of vector due to high humidity or water accumulation.
