Swine flu claims three lives in Jamnagar

Rama Panda (25), Noorjehan Rafiq (25) and Chintu Ramawat (24) succumbed to the dreaded H1N1 influenza virus at Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, where they had been undergoing treatment, they said.

These are the first major H1N1 deaths reported in the state at the onset of winter.

Relatives of the deceased and all those who came in their contact are being given preventive treatment as a precaution, they added.
