As Bihar grabbles to contain the spread of Swine Flu, which has claimed over 841 lives across the country, 62 more samples arrived today at Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRIMS) in Patna, which is the lone testing facility for the disease in the state.
RMRIMS Director Pradeep Das said, "Three more persons have tested positive for H1N1 virus at our testing facility. The samples which arrived today are being tested for the virus. The results will be available after some time as it takes five to seven hours to complete the tests."
Meanwhile, the state health department called an emergency meeting presided over by Health Secretary Anand Kishor. All concerned institutions attended it.
The meeting discussed the scope of expanding isolation wards with more beds.
