Rao called up the CMD of TSGenco, D Prabhakar Rao, and congratulated him, a statement from the CM's office said.
"The KTPS should be taken as a matter of inspiration for its quick progress in the construction of Yadadri and Bhadradri power plants," the CM said.
He appreciated the electricity staff for working towards the government's aim to make the state power surplus, the statement added.
