The 48-year-old actress this year made her stage comeback in London's West End production of Photograph 51. It had been more than 15 years since Kidman acted live and she certainly felt the nerves when returning, reported Contactmusic.
"Oh, horrific. Terrifying. I don't think I could go through it again. The adrenaline is just unbearable. I don't know how athletes run races in the Olympics. I think that fear factor has got worse as I've gotten older," Kidman said.
"There wasn't a lot of excitement at that point - I had a strong case of stage fright. Now there's a lot of exhilaration. But I just pushed myself on, which is what I tend to do in life anyway. Like there's no way out.
