Tata Metaliks Q1 net profit down 11% at Rs 31 cr

Tata Metaliks, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, today said its net profit fell by 11 per cent to Rs 30.62 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 34.44 crore in the year-ago period, Tata Metaliks said in a BSE filing.
However, its total income rose to Rs 418.58 crore from Rs 334.88 crore a year ago.
During the April-June quarter, the firm's total expenses were at Rs 379.44 crore as against Rs 289.73 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
Shares of the company closed 2.47 per cent down at Rs 739.55 on BSE.
